Dubai, February 2024 – Arjaan Dubai Media City in collaboration with the UAE Red Crescent, hosted an exquisite event at Skylight venue. The event, a joint effort with teams from 3 Rotana Hotels: Arjaan Dubai Media City, Centro Barsha Dubai and DAMAC Hills 2 Hotel - Edge by Rotana served as a heartfelt gesture to express gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who played a fundamental role in the resounding success of EXPO 2020.

As part of Rotana Corporate Social Responsibilities, the celebration brought together the unsung heroes – the UAE Red Crescent volunteers. These individuals, through their tireless efforts, ensure the seamless operation of any event, challenge or need and significantly contribute to its overall success.

Timur Ilgaz, Cluster General Manager of Arjaan Dubai Media City, DAMAC Hills 2 Hotel Edge by Rotana, and Centro Barsha Dubai, conveyed his deep appreciation and pride stating, "It was truly a pleasure to host this extraordinary event. The dedication and tireless efforts of the UAE Red Crescent volunteers have not only contributed to the success of EXPO 2020 but have also showcased the spirit of compassion that defines social responsibility towards our community.”

A special thanks was extended to the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, Dubai Branch, for providing the opportunity to participate in this honour and meet all the esteemed attendees. Timur Ilgaz also declared, "This year will be the Year of the Emirates Red Crescent. It will be a year of continuous collaboration and full partnership, and it will all be translated in various events from honouring, volunteering, accommodating families to creating treasured-times together and moving towards a better and more stable life."

The honouring event was followed by a Gala Dinner in Skylight Venue as a small token of gratitude.
