Celebrating the true essence of the Holy month of Ramadan and in line with Centro Sharjah CSR activities, the hotel hosts around 100 persons for an Iftar feast in Old People House in Sharjah. This is the second time in a row that Centro Sharjah is supporting the centre for old people.

The hotel management headed by Mr. Maan Cheikh Hussain, Centro Sharjah Front Office Manager representing the hotel in the absence of Mr. Michael Kasch-Centro Sharjah, General Manager, all department heads and with the support of the centre headed by Mr. Mansour Mohammed Haji joined for a sumptuous Iftar buffet with the old people.

“As the word Ramadan conveys, it’s the time of year where everyone focuses towards charity, forgiving, and praying. It was a wonderful opportunity to share this remarkable moment to individuals that truly value Ramadan” said Mr. Maan Cheikh Hussain, Front Office Manager.

All other departments participate and take initiative not just to celebrate Iftar but more on sharing and entertaining the old people. To make them feel how to have a family that really cares for them.

 

For the past three years, the hotel has been active with several community services and supporting non-government organizations. The hotel’s initiative confirmed the commitment of Centro Sharjah to its core values of respect and integrity demonstrated by giving back to the community.

Old People House in Sharjah is a Centre under Social Services department of Sharjah Government, established in 1986 supporting and assisting the old people from Sharjah aging 60 and above. The government of Sharjah provides them their necessity from food, clothing, shelter, hospitalization, medicine etc…
