"Average 5-star hotel with somehow disappinting experience"

I recently stayed at this hotel for two weeks in a studio room. Upon arrival, I was given a room card marked "244." After searching fruitlessly for the room for 10 minutes, I learned from the staff that my actual room was 266, not 244. Despite this initial mix-up, I settled into my stay.
The studio room was spacious and equipped with modern facilities, which is what you would expect from any five-star hotel. However, there were several drawbacks. The window was too small to let in sufficient sunlight, and the view was disappointing, facing another building. Although the hotel is close to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the view from my room was completely blocked by a neighboring residence building. It seems that only rooms facing the ocean and Khalifa garden may have pleasant views.
Another downside was the in-room entertainment and comfort. The television was outdated, lacking access to platforms like YouTube or Netflix, which limited its use during my stay. Additionally, the king-sized bed, while large, had sheets that felt uncomfortably damp and textured.
The service overall was polite and efficient, typical of what one might expect from the UAE's service industry. However, I was not informed that my booking included complimentary breakfast until the last day of my stay, a detail overlooked during the initial hotel introduction—which was also when I was misinformed about the cost of dining in the hotel restaurant.
The hotel's location was less than ideal. Despite its proximity to the Grand Mosque, there was no pedestrian access to it. The surrounding area lacked amenities such as restaurants and supermarkets within a reasonable walking distance. The hotel does house a Starbucks in the lobby, but the quality was subpar, and they charged more than usual without offering alternatives like oat milk.
After complaining about noise from the pool or restaurant, I was moved from the second to the fifth floor and received some fruit as compensation, some of which, amusingly, were rotten. I ordered in-room breakfast twice; the first was a satisfactory continental style, but the second was disappointing with dry bread and cold food.
In summary, this hotel offers a mediocre experience that one might expect from a three-star establishment in the US rather than a five-star. If you're expecting the luxurious standards often associated with five-star hotels, this might not be the place for you. However, if you simply need a place to stay without high expectations,

"More than an amazing atay"

The hotel is wonderful! Elegant decor, great food and an amazing view of Burj Khalifa. All the staff is nice and helpful. Honestly, it was a pleasure to stay at the hotel, but special thanks to Mr. Nour who was very helpful and kind during the accommodation. It was nice talking to you, thank you for this beautiful room on the 49th floor with a breathtaking view! We chose Dubai and this hotel for our wedding anniversary and it was perfect! We would love to come back this time with our children, we highly recommend this hotel!

Food was incredible at the Ginger restaurant (themed nights were awesome) and Coopers Bar.

"Best Hotel"
Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan
This hotel is superb in every aspect, from the staff and rooms to the beach. I have been a loyal customer since it opened in 2011 and I think it is the best in the area. I would like to say east or west Khalidiya Palace is the best.
I would also like to thank Rafif and Ahmed for their hard work to ensure our stay was pleasant.
Also Adel and Abu Halab for the excellent food arrangement and services.

"Excellent staff and service"

From check in to departure the staff were excellent and thoroughly professional. Trader Vic's was especially enjoyable and thy went out of their way to find alternative dishes for vegetarians. .

Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan Food was delicious We took an upgrade as there were no single beds available. The service desk check-in was poor, but the overal staff was service minded. We had an family room with 4 bed and incl diner or lunch. The food was full of variety and tasty! There is no good holiday without good and tasty food.

Capital Centre Arjaan No reservation Once I arrived to the property, at the reception I’ve been informed that I have reservation and the hotel is fully booked and offered a room in another hotel, whereas the confirmation was handed over at the reception and the full payment was fully made in advance.
Once the duty manger was called to present at the reception based on my request, he refuse to show up!?
After 15 to 20 minutes arguing with the receptionist, he contacted the reservation specialist and gave me a room which appointed to another guest, and the room which was assigned to me has been giving the guest who did not show up yet.
The A/C in the room was in a poor condition and not cooling until the second day the maintenance people came and fixed it.
I’ll never come again to this place and I don’t recommend it either.

Yas Island Rotana Perfect Location for Race Day Good: Amazing Location, theme parks minutes away. Pool was heated and sun was on the pool 90% of the day... A nice surprise as most pools in Dubai are in shadows of the buildings. Could see a lot of the race track from the room. Will stay again

Booked directly at the hotel webpage for the best price. Great location, sea view from our Club room at 22nd floor, closed and secured area, nice pool with great service, easy access to the beach. Great restaurants, and especially the Friday Brunch is amazing.
The service in the Club Lounge at 25th floor is fantastic. Great breakfast in the morning after your choice and free drinks and canapés in the evening in a relaxed area with great view to the sea.
We will loved our stay in Dubai and will for sure come back to Amway Rotana Hotel for our next visit. Recommend to book directly for best price at the hotel.

Bedrooms plenty of room for three of us . Not enough towels and pillows left even after we rang about the towels etc !
The club room was lovely and so was the food . I think the horizon restaurant list itself a bit .

Rose Rayhaan All good, decent hotel Nothing really to add. Nice room, good breakfast. Nice pool and gym area. Very centrally located with super markets just downstairs. Valet parking was fast (call them from your room and the car is ready when downstairs) so all good! Beds were a little bit on the harder side..

Centro Capital Centre Overall service quality The hotel is good but too much construction workers or labor who are using there. It could could have leads to tje spread of contangious ddisease such as COVID19. The quality of food is good but mostly asian foods, continental european foods should abundant others i got sick because of food shortage. The employees politeness is very good, the hotel should includes all kinds of spa services. Drinks are unbelievably too much expensive. In general the service is good.
