Beirut, Lebanon – 30th of November 2023 - Rotana Hotels Lebanon is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Samer AbouAleiwi as the new General Manager for Gefinor Rotana and Mr. Francis Moubarak as the General Manager for Raouche Arjaan by Rotana. Both leaders bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles, further strengthening Rotana's commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

Samer Abou Aleiwi - General Manager, Gefinor Rotana

Mr. Samer AbouAleiwi holds a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management-Business Development from the University of Perpignan Via Domitia. With a stellar career spanning several prestigious establishments, Mr. Abou Aleiwi's journey began at The Bristol Hotel and later assumed positions such as Duty Manager at InterContinental Hotels Group.

In 2004, he joined the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Beirut, where he progressively rose through the ranks, achieving milestones as Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and Front Office Manager. His leadership expertise was further showcased as the Resort General Manager at Al Nakhla Residential Resort in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Notably, Mr. AbouAleiwi spent nearly a decade as a Group of General Manager at Small Luxury Hotels of the World in Saudi Arabia then as Partner at The Unit Consultancy.

Francis Moubarak - General Manager, Raouche Arjaan by Rotana

Mr. Francis Moubarak, a distinguished professional, brings an extraordinary depth of experience to his esteemed role as General Manager for Raouche Arjaan by Rotana. Possessing a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management from Notre Dame University in Lebanon, Mr. Moubarak's illustrious career commenced as a Front Office Manager at the prestigious Intercontinental Le Vendome Beirut. He subsequently undertook pivotal roles at the renowned Gefinor Rotana Hotel in Beirut and Media Rotana Hotel in Dubai.

Continuing his journey of leadership excellence, Mr. Moubarak assumed the position of Director of Front Office at Al Ain Rotana Hotel in the UAE and Raouche Arjaan by Rotana Hotel in Beirut. A testament to his exceptional capabilities, he ascended to the role of Cluster Director of Front Office/Acting Director of Operations at the esteemed Hilton Habtoor Grand Hotel and Hilton Metropolitan Palace Hotel in Beirut. Moreover, for the preceding two years, Mr. Moubarak distinguished himself as the General Manager of Hilton Garden-Inn in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, further solidifying his reputation as a trailblazer in the hospitality industry.
