Harmony House is one of the organisations that Rotana supports as part of its Corporate Sustainability Platform, Rotana Earth, comprising of strategic sustainability goals that commit to the economy, the environment and society.

Harmony House is an organisation that is dedicated to improving the lives of children on a physical, emotional and intellectual level and aims to give enriching experiences to children. Since Harmony House relies 100% on donations and contributions, it holds an annual festive event together with the UAE-based Home Grown Children’s Eco Nursery. This year’s event was held at both of the Home Grown Children’s Eco Nurseries on Tuesday 9th December and Wednesday 10th December consecutively.

Rotana’s hotels in the UAE supported this year’s festive event with donations of raffle vouchers, helping the organisation meet its 2014 target of raising more than double of what was collected in 2013. “We are grateful to Rotana for their support in helping us to keep Harmony House alive,” shares Lucy Bruce, Director of Harmony House.

Harmony House is an Indian and UK registered charity/NGO in Gurgaon, just outside of Delhi, India. Harmony House has two day care centres and now provides 450 under privileged children, aged between 6 months and 16 years with education, nutrition, hygiene facilities, vocational training, social services, medical provisions and most importantly, love and care. Harmony House also provides employment, vocational training and workshops for women living in the slums.
