Looking to the future
While the world economy continues to falter, Rotana is picking up great pace with a slew of new hotels across the region, not to mention contracts now in place for additional properties in Turkey, Iran, Africa and India.

The next 12 months hold great promise for the Middle east. With major airlines launching new routes in and around the region, its never been easier to travel between Gulf states.
And whats better, there are now more Rotana properties than ever before with a total of three hotel openings in the last quarter of 2012 alone.
The five-star Al Ghurair Rayhaan by Rotana and the deluxe hotel apartments Al Ghurair Arjaan by Rotana, both in Dubai, form part of the expansion of the shopping complex Al Ghurair Centre.
The two openings, in the Middle Easts most cosmopolitan destination, have added 621 rooms to the emirates accommodation offering. They are located close to Dubai international airport and feature a variety of excellent food and beverage outlets, a ballroom and six meeting rooms.
They are also home to the much awaited Zen the spa at Rotana, offering a range of superlative massages, wraps, facials and scrubs.
Just a stones throw away, in the UAE capital, the Centro Capital Centre Abu Dhabi is also now open. Designed for business travellers, it is located next to Abu Dhabi National exhibition Centre and is a 20-minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Later this year, anyone in Bahrain looking for a comfortable and contemporary stay is in luck as the Majestic Arjaan by Rotana is due to open. offering 128 modern apartments in Manamas Busaiteen district, the stylish property will cater to both short- and long-term guests.
Sate your appetite at the all-day-dining restaurant, which serves a variety of superb regional and international dishes. Anyone wanting to burn off a few calories should head to the Bodylines Health & Fitness Club with swimming pool, sauna and steam room.
Just a short flight away, the City Centre Rotana in Doha is also due to open in a few short months. Part of the City Centre Doha shopping complex, the property is located in the West Bay area, near the exhibition Centre and minutes away from Doha golf Club and airport.
With four restaurants, 300 modern rooms and suites and 100 serviced apartments, it will complement the countrys leading business hotel, the oryx Rotana.
Other properties set to open this year are the Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi, Hili Rayhaan by Rotana in Al Ain, Salalah Rotana Resort & Spa in oman and Boulevard Arjaan by Rotana in Jordan.
Finally, we are due to open a five-star Rayhaan property in the Mauritanian capital of Nouakchott next year. Home to 230 rooms and excellent health and leisure facilities, the seafront hotel will be an impressive addition to the city, which is a growing business and tourism market with strong demand for five-star hotels and world-class hospitality.
Since Rotanas inception in 1992, the chain has become the regions largest hospitality management company. its controlled, carefully considered expansion means the brand has become synonymous with quality, luxury and value for money.
While these new properties are great additions to our portfolio, i am delighted to announce that we have also signed contracts to open hotels in Turkey, Iran and India, extending our offering beyond the Arab World.
