Park Rotana Abu Dhabi launched the project Zakat this Ramadan, aimed at extending help to workers in two Abu Dhabi labor camps – the unsung heroes of the community and also those who are most in need, by providing them with basic life goods.



The drive called for hotel colleagues to donate basic food items like rice, lentils, oil, canned food and biscuits; as well as other living essentials such as toiletries, linen, kitchen items, shoes and clothes. Tenants at the Park Residences also supported the initiative with both goods and money.

“We were humbled to see how everyone quickly rallied behind this initiative” commented Mais Bitar, Assistant Human Resource Director at Park Rotana Abu Dhabi. “It was truly wonderful to see such kindness as we celebrate the Holy Month”.

The goods were individually packaged and delivered by the team of Park Rotana Abu Dhabi to the camps right before Iftar.
