Abu Dhabi, UAE, May 2019: As part of Rotana Earth, the Global Corporate Sustainability Platform, Rotana Hotels in the Capital Centre district of Abu Dhabi organized for an Iftar donation drive for labourers residing in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.

Ramadan is a time of reflection, showing solidarity and giving back to the community. The hotel management after identifying a key location in Mussafah, in coordination with a local labour camp prepared 300 freshly cooked Iftar meals in the hotel’s kitchens. The meals and refreshments were packaged and distributed to the hard working labourers who convened for their Iftar and evening prayers.

In this regard, the hotels management said, “This holy month of Ramadan, we are humbled to have played a small role in giving back to the community through this initiative” The management further added “The hardworking labourers play a very crucial role in our society today and we would like to thank them for their sincere work”

Additionally, as part of Rotana Earth’s pillar of commitment to the colleagues & to thank them for their hard work & dedication, the hotels have implemented a Ramadan raffle where 3 winners shall be getting the prize of a full board staycation with their family to experience the hotels facilities.
