In line with Rotana Earth corporate initiative, Amwaj Rotana Hotel aims to reduce the hotel’s negative impact on its environment and the planet. In keeping with this, the hotel has made the meaningful change to remove plastic bottles from its property.

Replacing the 0.5l bottles on offer in each of 301 rooms and suites as well as hotel outlets and banqueting facilities will be sustainable glass bottles.

The hotel is now using pure filtered water which is accredited and approved by Dubai municipality laboratory. The bottles are thoroughly washed and disinfected using special machine technology. All the required health and safety requirements are followed during bottle filling process and colleagues training takes place regularly to ensure the safety of the process at all times.
