If it's true that the way to a woman's heart is through her smile and the way to a man's heart is through his stomach then it is no wonder our witty Chefs and kitchen team are a hit (or hoot!) at our various restaurants.

Below we have compiled a list of our top 10 favourites: 

1) "Wagyuuuuu-whoooo!" - Benihana Chefs at the launch of our Wagyu Promotion this year (2015)

2) "Cake...cake....Severus Cake, Dumble-dough" - Heard chanting by one of a our very own Harry Potter-obsessed pastry chefs 

3) "What did Sushi A say to Sushi B" 
"Wasa-bi!" - Benihana Chef A to Benihana Chef B 

4) When asked on suggestions to improve food quality in Rosso, one of our kitchen team members joked by saying "Upgrading to from Spage-D to Spagge-A"

5. "Rice to meet you, where you been I could show you incredible fins" - Taylor Swiftyaki at Benihana 

6. When brainstorming on names for our Arabian theme night dinner at Horizon, a colleague suggested "Galaddin" as in gala dinner + Aladdin - Horizon 

7. Should you ask anyone in the kitchen where Executive Chef Rainer is, they will tell you "If he's not in the office, he's making a Powerpoint presentation". Before you dismiss this as any ordinary piece of information you should that Chef Rainer undertook a course on designing presentations and does this for pleasure purposes! 

8. Chef Gary Rodricks recently introduced handmade jam and honey at Horizon's breakfast buffet allowing his kitchen team and himself to explore a channel of creativity. Nowadays, everyone knows when Chef Gary is coming up with a new recipe because he has a sign on his office door saying "I'm bee-zy" 

9. What do you call a Benihana Chef with a flu? A Beniha....Choo! - HR colleagues when our Benihana chefs fall sick 

10. Orange (aren't) you glad that we decided to share (expose) this list of food jokes? Who said working in a hotel was boring has not had a witty kitchen team like ours.
