As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Arjaan by Rotana Dubai was delighted to be a part of ‘Clean Up the UAE’ campaign that took take place in Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve.
The event aims to bring together all the different sectors of the community with the shared ambition to be good stewards of the environment and promote sustainable development of the United Arab Emirates and the entire Arab Region as a whole. Towards this end, Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) has designed a set of nationwide programs of which one of the most well-known is the Clean Up UAE campaign.

EEG distributed various clean-up gear, biodegradable trash bags and accessories to the participants to ensure everyone’s safety. The NGO also adhered to all safety measures issued by the UAE health authorities, such as temperature checks, and provided PPE kits, including sanitizers provided by Dabur, masks and gloves, to all the participants.

Arjaan by Rotana Team who was part of the event were following a full agenda that started with registration, flag hoisting followed by distribution of snacks and collection of soiled gloves and then Packing, weighing the collected waste and end by everyone leaves the cleanup site.
