Villa, Rihab and Rimal Rotana celebrated the soul of the life and the World Wish Day by holding a lunch at Villa Rotana hosting “Make a Wish” foundation children and families.

29th April, World Wish Day, an event that started in 1980 a global wish-granting movement which celebrates the day Chris Greicius received his wish to be a police officer for the day, inspiring the creation of Make-A-Wish and the organization's global wish movement.

“Happy World Wish Day to everyone and my wish on this day is a pray of health to every child in this world. We are so glad that we were able to add joy into the hearts of “Make a wish” children and families” commented Kinan Al Ghraoui, the General Manager of Villa, Rihab and Rimal Rotana.

From his part, Hani Al-Zubaidi, CEO of “Make a Wish” commented: “We at “Make a Wish!” celebrate every year the World Wish Day with our lovely kids wishing them good health where our real joy lies when we achieve our kids’ wishes”.

Since Chris' wish in 1980, more than 300,000 children around the world have had their fondest wishes fulfilled by Make-A-Wish. Every 23 minutes, Make-A-Wish ® grants the wish of a child with a life-threatening medical condition somewhere in the world.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE is an international non-profit organization with 38 active offices dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
